Jill Gerena was raised in Miami, Florida but has lived in New York city for the past twelve years. Her first job in NY was at Original Products Botanica located in the Bronx, NY in 2006. There she worked for Lady Rhea a very well known tarot reader and author of "The Enchanted Candle Book," and was exposed to Spiritual, Santeria, Botanica & Occult Magick. She was a candle carver, and here she learned much about candle magic and the power of intention. After working there for almost a year with low pay she decided to quit and spent the next years switching from one job to the next; Making a living in a harsh and aggressive urban environment, disconnected from herself spiritually and emotionally. She had dreams and aspirations when she first came to NY at the age of 20, in search of excitement and personal fulfillment but she soon became disillusioned with the fast lifestyle that comes with living in the city.

 

After falling into a major depression in 2014 and denying the spiritual side of her life for couple of years, she set out to Peru to dig deeper into herself. In Peru she was introduced to Ayahuasca and Kambo for the first time and since doing it, it has completely changed her life for the better. The Kambo medicine had a remarkable impact on her health and because of that she was curious to learn more about it to share it with others. In the early summer of 2018, she returned back to peru to train under the expert guidance of the Rainforest Healing Center. This lead her deep into the jungle to learn and train with the Matsés tribe. As a Certified practitioner she hopes to share the knowledge gained on her journey. By sharing her experience with the frog medicine, her goal is to offer a new way in which one can live a happier and healthier life.
